Suggested start 10:30am. Lancaster Bike Trail. Pass the John Bright ll Covered Bridge and go through the McCleery Covered Bridge on your way to the historic Fox Trail. Turn around at Martens Park.
Tourister Ride • 21.3 miles with 657 ft. elevation gain
Suggested start 10:30 a.m. The 20 mile route heads north out a favorite cycling road to reach the quiet back roads of Fairfield County farm land. You will enjoy rolling terrain as you cycle past multiple family farms. At the half way point, you will be treated to a rest stop in a town aptly name Pleasantville. Your journey back will take you down more quiet back farm roads as you return to the starting point.
Challenger Ride • 43.1 miles with 1452 ft. elevation gain
Suggested start 9:30 a.m. The 40 mile route follows the 20 mile route north out a favorite cycling road to reach the quiet back roads of Fairfield county farm land. You will enjoy rolling terrain as you cycle past multiple family farms. At the 9 mile park you will part company with the 20 mile route and head south and then north through quiet rolling farm land. You arrive in Pleasantville for your rest stop before heading out to complete your tour of the gently rolling farm lands of northern Fairfield County. You will travel down Canal Road to Baltimore before heading south to Lancaster and back to the starting point.
Adventurer Ride • 70.1 miles with 1950 ft. elevation gain
Suggested start 8:30 a.m. The 70 mile route follows the 40 mile route to the 28 mile marker where you will wind east and north to your second rest stop in Millersport at Weldon’s Ice Cream shop. You then head west through the very gently rolling farm country of western Fairfield County - enjoy this because you are headed to some larger hills right after your rest. But first, take a break in Lockville park and enjoy the covered bridge and canal lock system. After your break, you head south east and you will see much more rural country side. You will quickly find yourself back in Lancaster and back to the starting point.
